Apex identity!

Helloooo:)!

Finally gotten around to this post, things have been hectic! The logo and Identity of the High Performance Centre is pretty much finalized! The word, Apex, has a Latin origin which can be defined as reaching a peak, reaching the top or a summit (Wikipedia: Apex 2010)- something elite athletes aspire towards continiously! They always strive to be that little bit stronger...faster...fitter...with the ultimate goal of reaching unimaginable sporting heights!

The tag line 'prepare. perfect. perform' embodies the process an athlete goes through whilst being enrolled at a centre of this nature. The athlete is continiously preparing with the aim of perfecting what has been prepared and performing what has been perfected!

Ive been busy with an exhibition space for Apex - an interesting project so far. Today I will be exploring various ideas in 3d...hold thumbs!:)

Stumbling into the future!

The year has officially begun...with tons of briefs and shuffling of hand in dates with the hope of fitting it all in to one year!!! Started off with a couple of meetings with these 'big shot' professionals, which added to the utter feeling of being petrified with what the future has to hold! Although, it was a great opportunity for me as the aim for this year is to grow as a person and get involved with the activities and interests I was once SOOO passionate about! I feel I have taken the initial step by proposing a High Performance Centre...with the underlying dream of rediscovering my love for squash and competition!

The feeling of being whole is vital when one designs from within, otherwise the love of that design is masked by the fictional cover up of what you think it feels like to be whole!This is my ultimate goal for this year...ensuring I design with utter passion and positivity which radiates throughout all spheres in life!
